“Nikai” – A Gallery Where Art and Records Converge in a Modern Japanese Setting

Tucked within a 100-year-old Kyoto small townhouse, lovingly renovated into a modern Japanese shop, Feel Records Kyoto Hanare Store offers a unique experience. As you ascend the steep, hidden staircase, you’ll discover “Nikai,” a serene gallery nestled behind Shoji doors. This space was designed for anyone to casually enjoy records, with a carefully curated art gallery that enriches the experience.

Gallery “Nikai” regularly hosts exhibitions and sales of works by artists who delve into the themes of “Sound, Records, and Music.” Visitors can immerse themselves in the interplay of Visual Art and Auditory Experience. Since our opening in April 2024, we have proudly showcased the works of four distinct artists.
