No Experience or Genre Restrictions! DJ Debuts Welcome! – Now Accepting Performers for “DJ de Night? #5”

Feel Records Kyoto Hanare is excited to announce the fifth edition of our regular all-vinyl DJ event, “DJ de Night?”, taking place this September! We’re currently looking for DJs to help bring the event to life.

If you can DJ with vinyl records, you’re welcome to join — no experience or genre restrictions. Whether you’re stepping behind the decks for the first time or returning after a long break, many have chosen this event to make their DJ debut or comeback.

This event is open to all, which naturally brings a wide variety of styles and generations. But somehow, it all blends together beautifully. That’s the spirit of DJ de Night?

As a thank-you gift, each performer will receive a JICO “44-7DJ” stylus engraved with their DJ name. We look forward to many applications!

Event Details

  • Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025
  • Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Entry Deadline: Saturday, September 6, 2025
  • Location: Feel Records Kyoto Hanare
  • Number of Performers: 3 DJs (Each set is 30 minutes)

How to Apply

Please visit the Contact page on the Feel Records website and submit the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Age
  • Email Address
  • Instagram and/or Facebook account name
  • DJ experience and your music genre(s)

Performer Selection & Notification

Performers will be selected with attention to genre balance and overall program flow. You’ll be notified via email within 3 business days after the entry deadline. Please note that notification dates may shift slightly depending on the number of applications.

Participation Gift

Each selected performer will receive a JICO-made “44-7DJ” stylus with their DJ name engraved on it.

Note: There is a character limit for engraving. Please do not resell the stylus.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Submit entry through the official method outlined above
  • Follow the official Feel Records accounts on Instagram and/or Facebook
  • Be able to DJ using vinyl records only (no digital setups)
  • Consent to the use of event photos and videos on SNS, YouTube, or the Feel Records website
