Fresh off the buzz of the anniversary event “METRO de Night?“, the original analog DJ gathering that inspired it — DJ de Night? — is back for its fourth edition with a fresh start.
Whether you’re thinking, “I’ve never tried DJing but want to give it a go,” “It’s been a while and I want to get back into it,” or “I just want people to hear this record,” this event is for you.
DJ de Night? is open to anyone who can DJ using vinyl records. Skill level and musical genre don’t matter. Past events have featured a wide range of performers, from women making their DJ debut to seasoned professionals representing the broader scene. Despite the differences in age and genre, something about this event just clicks — everything comes together in harmony.
That unique atmosphere seems to emerge from the shared love of vinyl and music, and the passion people bring to the room.
Once again, we’re welcoming everyone into a relaxed, friendly setting. If you’re interested in spinning records in a casual, open-minded environment, we encourage you to apply.
Following an energetic night at Club METRO, this fourth edition of DJ de Night? will take place at Feel Records Kyoto Hanare. We’re now accepting applications from DJs who want to perform at the upcoming event on Saturday, June 21.

Date and time: Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM

Location: Feel Records Kyoto Hanare
Number of performers: 3 DJs (30-minute set each)
How to apply
Go to the contact page on the Feel Records website and submit the following information:
- Name
- Age
- Email address
- Instagram and/or Facebook account
- DJ experience and preferred music genres
Performer selection and notification
We will select performers with consideration to musical balance and variety. Successful applicants will be notified by email within three business days after the entry deadline. Please note that response times may vary slightly.
Participation gift
Each selected performer will receive a JICO N44-7 DJ stylus with their DJ name engraved on it as a commemorative gift.
Note: There is a character limit for engraving. The stylus may not be resold under any circumstances.
Application requirements
You must meet all of the following conditions to apply:
- Follow the application process outlined on the Feel Records website
- Follow the official Feel Records Instagram or Facebook account
- Be able to DJ using vinyl records only
- Consent to the use of event photos and video on social media, YouTube, and the Feel Records website
