In our listening booth, “Space Sound,” you can also audition record needles. Take your time and choose your favorite one.

Private Sound Space ‘OTONOMA’
Inspired by the mirrored boards of Noh stages, our listening booth, ‘OTONOMA’ provides a fully-equipped audio environment perfect for traditional Japanese rooms. Indulge in your own personal record time.
¥1,500 per person (tax included) for 1 hour, available for groups of up to 3 people. We also welcome bringing your own records.

A Tranquil Café of Tradition
Nestled within a traditional Japanese townhouse, our cozy Café preserves the charm of Kyoto’s Machiya architecture. Sunlight filtering through lattice doors and bamboo swaying in the breeze beckon you into the serene inner garden.
Embodying the concept of Kyoto Hanare – cherishing the beauty of old objects and indulging in occasional luxuries – our Japanese-modern space invites you to relax and unwind.
Body Friendly: Our Original Menu
Indulge in our Kyoto Hanare Original Cafe Menu featuring dishes like the “Dashi-Maki Burger” made with dashi-maki tamago prepared in the style of a traditional Japanese restaurant, and our original blend coffee “Yurune” alongside homemade Craft Cola.
Both our meals and beverages feature carefully selected, body-friendly ingredients, ensuring a delightful culinary experience at Kyoto Hanare.
Touching Art: Gallery ‘Nikai’
In our spacious gallery, “Nikai,” with the ceilings removed to create an open atmosphere, you can enjoy artworks inspired by Records and Music.
We regularly exhibit works by featured artists we highly recommend. Experience the Fusion of Art through Sight and Sound.
